Opening:
Once upon a time Wolf was greatly feared amongst the animals, because he used to eat their flesh. At last he made a promise to the other animals that he would not eat their flesh as long as he was thirsty. However, as soon as he had quenched his thirst, he would be compelled to request that one of the animals, who happened to be near by, give up a piece of its flesh. His appetite for meat, he admitted, was at its height after drinking water.
